GEO, AEO, LLMO and AI SEO from Austria

Visible when the AI answers.

Your customers already ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode. The answer cites two or three sources. We work on making you one of them.

This is what a measurement looks like. The full scope is in the visibility audit.

Why GEO now

Answers have no page two.

With ten blue links, position six still had value. A generated answer names two to four sources and then stops. Miss that cut and you simply are not there.

These systems read differently from a search engine. They look for clear facts, traceable sources and claims that match what other places on the web say. That is the work: your fact base, the structure of your content, and the same details reading the same everywhere.

Without measurement all of this is guesswork, so every project starts with numbers: a fixed set of prompts, several models, a date. After that you know where you stand.

GEO services

Four disciplines, kept apart.

GEO, AEO, LLMO and AI SEO get thrown together a lot. We keep them separate, because they answer different questions and mean different work.

How GEO runs

Analyse, plan, implement, measure.

  1. Analyse

We define a prompt set your customers actually use and run it against the models that matter. The result is a baseline with a date on it.

  2. Plan

Who gets named instead, and why. Which sources the systems quote, and where claims about you contradict each other across the web.

  3. Implement

Fact base, answer structure, structured data, source work off site. This is the part that takes months and then stays.

  4. Measure

Same prompt set, same method, new date. Without the repeat, any claim about progress is just a claim.

Who is behind it

Not a start-up experiment.

agenticsearch.at is the specialist brand of Digital Wings GmbH. Florian and Romana Hieß have run the agency together from Lower Austria since 2010, with clients in e-commerce, SaaS and tourism.

Much of what is now called GEO is work we have done for years: technical hygiene, content that holds up, structure, reputation. What is new are the systems reading it and the way you measure success.

Common questions on GEO

Answered briefly.

There are more in the FAQ.

What is the difference between GEO and SEO?
SEO works towards a results list, GEO towards a generated answer. The groundwork overlaps a lot: clean technology, clear content, good sources. The goal and the measurement differ. SEO counts a position, GEO counts whether you get named and linked inside the answer.
What exactly do GEO, AEO, LLMO and AI SEO stand for?
GEO is the full programme for generative answer surfaces. AEO handles individual questions and makes sure your answer is the one that gets cited. LLMO works on the source and fact base that language models draw from. AI SEO is the bridge for anyone already doing SEO who wants to know what changes. We keep the four apart because they mean different work.
How long before anything moves?
In chatbots we often see the first changes after four to eight weeks, because some systems retrieve fresh material continuously. Anything tied to the model's own knowledge takes longer, sometimes several months. Anyone promising a week has not measured.
Can you guarantee that ChatGPT will name us?
No. Nobody can, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something. We can measure where you stand, explain the reasons and improve the factors that demonstrably count. The system makes the final call.
Which systems do you measure?
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, Gemini and Claude. Which of those matter for you depends on your audience. A B2B software vendor sees a different picture than a hotel. We agree the set before the first measurement and then leave it alone, otherwise the numbers are not comparable.
How do you measure visibility inside an AI answer at all?
With a fixed set of questions your customers actually ask. Each question goes to several systems, several times, and we record whether you are named, whether you are linked, in what position, and who else appears. Plus a date. Repeat the same set later and the comparison shows a trend.
We already do SEO. Do we need this on top?
Part of your existing work already pays in. Three things are usually missing: a structured fact base about your company, content that answers a question cleanly in a few sentences, and mentions on sites the systems trust. The audit tells you where to start.
What does it cost?
It comes down to three things: how many questions and systems get measured, how much work your content and technology need, and whether this stays a one-off analysis or runs continuously. The ranges are on the pricing page. If your case does not fit them, we give you a number in the first call rather than inventing a flat rate.
What is the difference between the audit and monitoring?
The audit happens once and answers where you stand today and why. Monitoring repeats the same measurement continuously and shows what changes and what caused it. Most clients start with the audit and decide afterwards whether the ongoing view is worth it.
Do we have to rebuild our website for this?
Very rarely. It is usually about structured data, clearer answers inside existing text, and details that contradict each other across your website, imprint, directories and LinkedIn. If your system cannot support the work technically, we say so early instead of working around it.
Is an llms.txt worth having?
It is cheap to produce and does no harm, but it is not a switch. What holds up today is that structured data, consistent facts and mentions on trusted sites make a difference. We build the file along the way without attaching an expectation it cannot meet.
What happens to our data?
A measurement needs your website, your question set and an email address. The queries run through the respective providers, which the privacy policy sets out. We pass no client data to third parties, and we publish results only with your explicit approval.
Do you work outside Austria?
Yes. The office is in Lower Austria, the work covers the German-speaking market and, in English, beyond it. Region plays into AI answers anyway, so we always measure it alongside.
Who is this not worth it for?
Companies without substance on their website, very short-term campaign goals, and markets where buying decisions happen without research. If we see that in the first call, we say so. A project that delivers nothing is no use to us either.

Difference

How others do this, and how we do.

Not a judgement on individual agencies, but a description of two approaches. The right column is checkable, because this website itself is built that way.

Difference Usual agency approach agenticsearch.at
Starting point A proposal after a first call A measurement with a date, before anything gets recommended
Basis Keywords from classic search A question set of real prompts, clustered and prioritised
Proof of success Rankings and a visibility index Mentions per question and system, with the raw data
Reporting A monthly dashboard with curves The same measurement repeated, change called only after three runs
When unsure Try it and see what happens We say what is not evidenced, and write it on the page
Tooling Agency licences, access ends with the contract The question set and the data are yours, afterwards too
Scope As many channels as possible from one supplier A capped number of concurrent projects, otherwise we turn it down

Your guides

You play the lead.

You know your business, your customers and your offer better than any agency does. What is usually missing is solid numbers on how AI systems talk about it, and an order in which to tackle that.
