Reasoning
Why this works.
The website is static HTML. There is no content management system running, no login, no basket and no personalised content. So the usual reason for cookies is absent.
The JavaScript running in the browser is limited to the menu, search, overlays and a back-to-top button. It stores nothing and sends nothing to third parties.
The elegant side effect: with no consent-requiring storage access the banner disappears. That is the cleanest solution rather than the most convenient one, because it means going without analytics tools.
Should tools requiring cookies be introduced in future, this page gets updated first and a consent solution built in. Without both, nothing gets set.
