AI visibility audit as the entry point

Measure first, then decide.

The audit answers three questions: do you appear in AI answers, who stands there instead, and what explains the difference. One-off, self-contained, with no commitment to a follow-up project.

How it runs

Four steps, two to three weeks.

  1. Kick-off

Audience, offer, competition. That produces the draft prompt set. About 90 minutes, and nothing more from you at this stage.

  2. Fix the prompt set

You see the questions and can change them. After that they are frozen, otherwise the next measurement is not comparable.

  3. Run it

Every question goes to every system several times, separated by region. We record whether you are named, whether linked, in what position and who else appears.

  4. Report and call

Findings, causes and a prioritised action plan, followed by a meeting where we walk through it together.

What becomes clear

Numbers instead of assumptions.

After the audit you know in what share of answers you appear, which systems know you and which do not, and which sources they lean on when they name somebody else.

What the report rules out matters just as much. If your audience does not use AI for this buying decision at all, that is in there. Then the audit is the cheapest way to save yourself money.

Boundary first analysis

The free first analysis behind the button on the home page checks a single question across several systems. It shows the principle. The audit works with a complete set, repeated runs, a competitive view and root cause analysis.

  • First analysis one question
  • Audit complete set
  • Monitoring ongoing

Common questions

About the audit.

Deliverables Audit
  • Prompt set agreed, then frozen
  • Systems chosen by audience
  • Runs several per question
  • Report findings, causes, plan
  • Raw data yours to keep
  • Commitment none
What exactly do we get from the audit?
A report with findings per question and system, a comparison against competitors, the likely causes and a prioritised action plan. Plus the raw data from the runs and a meeting where we go through all of it.
How many questions does a prompt set contain?
Usually between 20 and 60, depending on how broad your offer is. The selection matters more than the count: questions with buying intent, comparison questions, and questions where your category gets searched for in the first place.
How long does an audit take?
Two to three weeks from the kick-off. The runs themselves take a few days, the rest is agreeing the prompt set and analysis.
Why do you run each question several times?
Because the same question can produce different answers in the same system. A single query says little. Only several runs show whether a mention is stable or was chance.
Can we change the prompt set later?
Adding, yes. Changing, better not. Rephrasing a question loses comparability with the previous measurement. New questions therefore run as their own block with their own start date.
What if we appear in zero answers?
That is a common and useful result. It says the work starts with the groundwork rather than with fine tuning. The report then focuses on who gets named instead and what those mentions rest on.
Who from our team should join the kick-off?
Someone from marketing and someone from sales. Sales knows the questions customers actually ask, and those often differ sharply from what is considered important internally.
Do we get the raw data?
Yes, in full and in an open format. It is yours. You can repeat the measurement yourself or have somebody else do it.
How is this different from an SEO audit?
An SEO audit checks your website against search engine criteria. Here we measure the result in external systems first and reason back to causes. The technical review is part of that reasoning, not the starting point.
Is the free first analysis the same thing?
No, it is a slice. One question, several systems, result by email. It shows the principle and is enough for a first impression, but it replaces neither the full set nor the root cause analysis.
Does the audit commit us to anything?
No. It is a self-contained project. Many clients implement the measures themselves afterwards, and that is explicitly fine. We do not build dependency into the report.

Difference

How others do this, and how we do.

Not a judgement on individual agencies, but a description of two approaches. The right column is checkable, because this website itself is built that way.

Difference Usual agency approach agenticsearch.at
Starting point A proposal after a first call A measurement with a date, before anything gets recommended
Basis Keywords from classic search A question set of real prompts, clustered and prioritised
Proof of success Rankings and a visibility index Mentions per question and system, with the raw data
Reporting A monthly dashboard with curves The same measurement repeated, change called only after three runs
When unsure Try it and see what happens We say what is not evidenced, and write it on the page
Tooling Agency licences, access ends with the contract The question set and the data are yours, afterwards too
Scope As many channels as possible from one supplier A capped number of concurrent projects, otherwise we turn it down

Your guides

You play the lead.

You know your business, your customers and your offer better than any agency does. What is usually missing is solid numbers on how AI systems talk about it, and an order in which to tackle that.

  • 01

    You know where you stand

It starts with a measurement, not a proposal. You see in black and white which AI answers name your company and which do not, with a date and a question set.

  • 02

    You know what comes next

Instead of a list of everything, you get an order. Every step has a result you can verify yourself, including without us.

  • 03

    You keep the decisions

Your offer and your positioning stay yours. We tell you what stands in the way of visibility and take on the technical part of it.

Next step

Let us find out where you stand in AI answers.

One conversation, 30 minutes, no sales pressure. You leave with an honest read on whether this is worth the effort for you.

Free first analysis

We run one question through several AI systems and send you the result. No subscription, no sales call required.
