What the result shows

Mention rate
How many of the answers name your brand at all. That is the basic question: does the system know you in this context or not.
Share of voice
Your share of all brand mentions. Being named is one thing, being named alongside twelve others is another.
Citation rate
How often your own domain is cited as a source. A brand that is named but never cited does not have an awareness problem, it has an evidence problem.
Source ranking
Which directories, comparison sites and publications the systems cite. This is the part of the report that turns into an action fastest.
Limits
What this check cannot do.
The check is a sample taken at one point in time, not a measurement with statistical confidence. These limits also appear inside the report, because they are part of the result:
- AI answers are not deterministic. The same question may be answered differently tomorrow. Five questions show a tendency, not a metric.
- We query the providers' programming interfaces. What you see yourself in the ChatGPT app may differ: different system instructions, personalisation, sometimes different model versions.
- Results depend on market, language and timing. A number without a date is worthless, which is why the report always states when it was collected.
- Anyone who wants to track how visibility develops needs monitoring, not a one-off check. This check is the way in, not the answer.
